September Brews News
Southern California
So I know that September typically means we start diving into our Halloween coverage for the season, and believe me, we will! But I wanted to share a couple of less spooky and more booze-y events that might be of interest to some of our readers, especially because they're being part produced by groups who have put together other festival events we've covered in the past!
The first is the 9th annual Brew Ha Ha Craft Beer Festival this Saturday, September 15, over in Silverado Park in the Irvine area. Brew Ha Ha is the same group that's associated with Sabroso Fest and Back to the Beach Festival--two fantastic events that we've covered in the past.
The second is the grand opening of Dude's Brewing Company in Santa Monica this Thursday, September 13, featuring a musical performance by punk and alternative band, Unwritten Law (who we've covered in the past two Sabroso Fests). For beer enthusiasts--and I think there are a lot of you out there--these are a pair of fun events that combine potables and a nice, social atmosphere. Of course, all things in moderation, and definitely be responsible if you're out drinking. But as long as we're being adults about things, consider these to be something to do this week!
