Brew Hee Haw & Brew Ha Ha Return to Orange County This Summer

This Friday, July 12, will mark opening day of the 2019 Orange County Fair, an annual summer tradition for residents of the OC. But it also marks the first two two days of craft beer tastings taking place at on the fairgrounds in the form of the Brew Hee Haw Craft Beer Roundup. This event will allow guests to sample more than 80 local beers by some of Southern California’s well known breweries.
Tickets to the event also include fair admission, and this year, because it takes place at The Hangar, there will be live music by the Oingo Boingo tribute band, Dead Man’s Party, featured as well! It’s a fun event, so if you want an excuse to hit the fair this weekend, swing by and take a sip!

6th Annual OC Brew Hee Haw Craft Beer Roundup Introduces Live Music at The Hangar with Unlimited Tastings of 80+ Craft Beers and More

Costa Mesa, CA – The 6th Annual OC Brew Hee Haw Craft Beer Roundup is set to showcase more than 80 regional favorite and rarely seen craft beers on July 12 and 13, 2019 at the opening weekend of the world-famous OC Fair. For the first time, the highly anticipated 6th Annual Brew Hee Haw Craft Beer Roundup will be held at The Hangar, the heart of the OC Fair & Event Center, with live entertainment from Orange County Oingo Boingo Tribute band Dead Man’s Party during Friday’s session and Los Angeles ‘80s tribute act Fast Times during both Saturday sessions.
The new location at The Hangar offers room for more breweries than ever before, with the brewery lineup including Artifex Brewery, Chapman Crafted Beer, Four Sons Brewing, Burgeon Beer Co., Beachwood Brewing, Pizza Port Brewing Co., Stereo Brewing, Bottle Logic Brewing, Unsung Brewing Co., and many more. Tastings will be held in three sessions from 8-11 p.m. on Friday; 1:30-4:30 p.m. and 7:30-10:30 p.m. on Saturday. VIP guests are invited one hour early for additional tasting time.
Eight-piece tribute band, Dead Man’s Party, features a three-piece horn section, guitar, bass, keys, drums and front-man. Guests can sip their craft beers and dance along to Oingo Boingo favorites like “Just Another Day,” “No Spill Blood” and “Only A Lad.” For Saturday attendees, Fast Times, the ultimate ‘80s tribute band, will be performing classic hits from legendary ‘80s artists including Guns N’ Roses, Journey, The Cure, Van Halen and AC/DC.
Tickets include free OC Fair admission, so attendees can come for the beer and stay for the Fair! Brew Hee Haw’s coveted location at The Hangar offers attendees easy access to the OC Fair’s beloved vendors and attractions. Guests can “Free Their Inner Farmer” with the OC Fair’s annual piglet races, carnival games, extensive fried food options, and classic rides, all before, during, or after their tasting session at OC Brew Hee Haw.
Free parking and shuttle services are available on Saturdays and Sundays from the Experian parking structure located off the Bristol St. exit off the 405 freeway. OC Fair Express bus service runs on Saturdays and Sundays from July 14 - August 12 from approximately 10 a.m. to midnight. Departing from nine locations, OC Fair Express costs $2 each way, or 75 cents for seniors over the age of 60 and persons with disabilities. If you can’t make Brew Hee Haw but want to engage craft beer tasting this summer, Brew Ha Ha returns at the end of the summer in the north of Irvine, in Santiago Canyon. This huge OC beer festival celebrates its 10th iteration this year and will feature both beer and some famous OC ska punk music.
Taking place Saturday, September 7th (the weekend after Labor Day), it’s a great way to bid adieu to summer before the autumn attraction season rolls around!

Dubbed “Orange County’s Favorite Beer Festival,” the highly anticipated 10th annual OC Brew Ha Ha will feature an all-star list of over 80 breweries including Artifex Brewing Co, Bottle Logic, Pizza Port, Burgeon Beer Co, JuneShine Hard Kombucha, and Societe Brewing Co as well as many others that are sure to blow the minds of craft beer aficionados and new beer lovers alike. While sipping on unlimited tastes of over 160 craft beers, attendees will “skank it up” in homage to the 10 year milestone with an all-star lineup of Orange County Ska legends performing live including The Aquabats, Save Ferris, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Suburban Legends, Skapeche Mode and Codename Rocky. The family-friendly festival welcomes attendees of all ages to enjoy bounce houses, the Save Ferris Wheel and Super Rad food trucks.
