KROQ Presents: On the Water Festival 2019

Have you been catching our updates of waterside festivals like Sabroso Fest or Back to the Beach or Gnarlytown and wishing you could partake in such beach-centric music revelry? Well, you have another chance coming up this fall, with another festival coming to Huntington State Beach featuring ska / punk / alternative rock. On the Water is a new festival this year being presented by local rock and alternative station, 106.7 KROQ, and it will bring two days of oceanside jams to SoCal concert-goers this October 12 and 13.

As usual with these SoCal festivals, there will be a selection of craft foods and beers available. That’s pretty much become a prerequisite these days. Tickets are priced pretty expensively, though the 18+ age limits marks a departure from the more family-friendly festivals we’ve seen lately. Tickets are on sale now, so get yours today!

Saturday, October 12 & Sunday, October 13 At Huntington State Beach In Southern CA

KROQ Presents On The Water Festival is set to debut on Saturday, October 12 & Sunday, October 13 at Huntington State Beach in Huntington Beach, CA. Produced by SGE, this new event will feature music from some of the biggest names in rock, reggae, ska, jam & dub, including many who share deep-seated Southern California roots. Slightly Stoopid will perform two sets, closing out Saturday night electric, and a rare special acoustic performance on Sunday. Dirty Heads and 311 will close out Sunday. On The Water also marks the debut of Slightly Stoopid’s Vintage Poster Gallery, featuring their collection of rare tour and festival posters available for purchase and via charity auction.

The music lineup for KROQ Presents On The Water Festival is as follows (subject to change): Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, 311, Chronixx, J Boog, The Interrupters, Alborosie, The Expendables, Hirie, The Expanders, Law, and more to be announced.

KROQ Presents On The Water Festival will also offer delectable food and drink options, including the Taste Of Baja where guests can enjoy amazing fish tacos, fresh fish dishes, fruit bowls, and wash it all down with a cold beer or fresh margarita.

Tickets for KROQ Presents On The Water Festival go on sale Friday, July 12 at 10:00 AM PT. General Admission tickets start at $39.99 for Single Day and $69.99 for Weekend.
