Zombie Joe's Announces Urban Death: Cannibal Corpse

If you’re looking for something freaky to do this weekend or just want to kick off Father’s Day weekend with a show that is probably the opposite of Father’s Day connotations (though you may see someone doing things with their “daddy”), our friends at Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre are unveiling a special version of their perennial hit, Urban Death, this Friday in the form of Urban Death: Cannibal Corpse. Yes, that’s referring to the heavy metal band.

Anyone who has seen an Urban Death show knows how twisted and depraved and humorously dark it can get. So why not take inspiration from a musical group with singles such as "Pit of Zombies" or "Frantic Disembowelment" or "Shredded Humans" or "A Skull Full of Maggots or "Meat Hook Sodomy" or "Fucked with a Knife" or "Addicted to Vaginal Skin" or "I Cum Blood" or... well, you get the picture. This latest Urban Death runs Fridays and Saturdays this weekend until Independence Day weekend. So stop by and check it out! It will definitely be an unforgettable experience!

URBAN DEATH - Los Angeles’s long-running cult horror show - is a live horror show of short, wordless scenes designed to shock, delight and titillate audiences. This time, the scenes will be inspired by the song and album titles of the worlds greatest death metal band, Cannibal Corpse.

Featuring Barry Bishop, Gina Rizzo Bishop, Elijah Cunnaly, Joe Fillipone, Ian Heath, Zeke Jones, Jorge Lozano, Tosca Minotto, Jonica Patella, Jess Sabine, Nick Salas and Elif Savas; Stage Manager: Amanda McKenna; Original Score by Kevin Van Cott, with Sound Design by Alex Schetter; Directed by Jana Wimer and Produced by Zombie Joe.
