Six Flags Magic Mountain West Coast Racers Mini-Update
Six Flags Magic Mountain, Valencia, CA
Hey, kids! What’s this? An update from Magic Mountain?? And it’s NOT about Fright Fest? Well, yes, yes it is. Admittedly, we don’t really get up to the roller coaster capital up in Valencia much—mostly due to distance. But we did stop by on Saturday to take part in their surprisingly fun Fright Fest event, and that stop afforded us to get a few photos of West Coast Racers, which has been under construction since 2015 and is scheduled to open in approximately 2021.
All joking aside, Magic Mountain’s new dueling roller coaster has been slowly climbing across the park landscape in the back corner next to Apocalypse. The construction has closed down the pathway from the DC Universe over to the Apocalypse roller coaster, but a corner of the walk up to Samurai Summit affords some great panoramic views of the ride just beyond Ninja. That’s where we got most of these photos, which show the tangled mass of track that this thrill ride will encompass, sprawling all over the walkway area.
So check out this little update from Six Flags Magic Mountain, and hopefully, we’ll be seeing the ride open before the end of the year!
