Bah-Bee-Cues and Bands in the Backyard
So I get sent out to do things the rest of the office apparently is too good for. Guess who had to be flown back up North YET AGAIN because no one wanted to miss Awesome Monday's Day Off?
WELL YOU KNOW WHO DIDN'T GET A DAY OFF AND HAD TO WORK ON EASTER AND AWESOME MONDAY? THE EFFING INTERN.
Anyway, I got free food, music and got to see BAE Railblazer again.
...BAE is still a thing, right? And totally not weird that I used that in context of a super curvey coaster, right? Asking for a frie-
Me. I'm asking for me.
SERIOUSLY THO. You can see this thing from nearly all over the park. Once the trains cycle, this thing is going to be a great visual weenie (giggity).
SPEAKING OF WEENIES....
The rest of the event had some quality barbecue and a semi-decent beer list. Personally, would have kept it exclusive to craft beers and not have crap on tap like the mass distributors, but that's just me. At least there's booze in a theme park, so who's complainin', amiright?
Overall, it's a great start to hopefully a fun new Spring Break activation. The bands were a little sleepy for my taste, but weren't horrible either. I hope this does grow into a great thing, because it's already a good amount of fun for a break in a day at the parks.
Now, here's a bunch of beauty shots of CGA! Railblazer's moving right along. Rocks are moving, concrete's pouring, even more than when we were there for a site visit. So, with that..EEEEEEENJOY.
