California Great America - Railblazer Announcement

HI THERE ERRYBODDY! 

So my boss Jim is really great. I feel like he's trusting me more and more. Either that or he has no-one else to cover stuff and he's desperate. Whatever, I got to get out of the supply closet. 

I flew up to San Jose today to check out California's Great America. I don't know why, but I keep thinking he's flying me out to California Adventure in Anaheim, but every time I land in San Jose I realize that it's not Anaheim, and well, I don't know how to handle Northern California. After all, they're the people that ruined pizza. 

My flight was late, but I landed and scrambled to get over to the park to see what all the buzz was about. Something about a SR1..

We're here! 

CGA really is a beautiful park. 

And then there's this gem. But we're not here to strike gold..

We're here for this! 

First up was Mayor Lisa Gilmore. She's a girl, so she's by default a *shades on* Gilmore Girl. YEEEAAAAAAAAHHH!

Second up, President Lady ACE-r Barbara Lawson. 

Raul, the GM of CGA finally told us what SR stood for. Note: It wasn't Sexy Rhino 1. But pro-tip, that's Jim's password for literally everything, so go ahead and log in to his Tinder with that. 

Railblazer...T-Rail...blazer...OH I GET IT. That's clever...

It's Rocky Mountain Construction's new love child: the single rail track, and HOLY BALLS IT'S SEXY. 

Basically you're riding a human centipede of ATV trains that race around the Northern California terrain that encompasses State Route 1, or y'know, as any decent Californian calls it: "The One".

Coming Spring 2018. 

So California's Great America really is working hard at developing the park. Hell, all of Cedar Fair is running full steam ahead with investing in their parks. The fact that this is a start to many great things is awesome. A small local park is really going to start making an impact in Northern California. If you're ever in the area, do stop by here.
