Well... 55 years ago today (July 14th)... they were finishing work on Disneyland. Planting plants, putting fancy names next to common weeds (no joke)... the last touches of paint and testing were well under way. And a park that looked very different to the one we have today was almost ready for prime time. Enlarge Image
So the gallery exhibit was changed out a while back to look back at how the park looked on opening day. Mercifully... they really only have paintings. Because I'm not sure most Disney fans would tolerate the plain fencing and hand rails that existed at Disneyland 1.0! Enlarge Image
